For a place so central, I'm satisfied with how much green there is. Recently, a new small green area was added and I find this very pleasant both for the eye and for walking my dog. In terms of hygiene, I find it quite substandard. People leave dog poop lying around, there is often vomit on the street from people who have been out and about, and a lot of litter and food scraps.
