Quiet living environment with beautiful nature near the station

The nature in the neighbourhood is beautiful. Lots of greenery and water that attract birds and wildlife. Many birdwatchers come to our neighbourhood and forests to see special birds. The fountain opposite the Geesterduin shopping centre is my favourite. Behind it lies a small park, perfect for walking your dog or children. There are also many playgrounds for the little ones. Both the forests and the beach are within 10 minutes, lovely to spend your time on a sunny day. The neighbourhood of Castricum also has excellent connections with public transport. Furthermore, there are many supermarkets, including the Albert Heijn which is open until 10 PM. Very handy if you need to get something from the supermarket in the evening. There are also many cute clothing shops. There is a wide choice of education in the neighbourhood, with as many as 3 secondary schools to choose from. There is a suitable school for every level. The people in this neighbourhood are very friendly and everyone knows each other. Always nice to have a chat or simply say hello.
