The community regularly organises fun activities. Lots of music. Plenty of cosiness. Much attention to greenery. Everything beautifully laid out. Minimal amenities in a village that is growing bigger with new construction. The supermarket and butcher are already gone. The supermarket was a nice (learning) place for young people with a distance to the labour market. Too bad it didn't get off the ground properly. With the right knowledge and ideas, it could still become a nice social initiative with a chance of success.

A nice and cosy village. Unfortunately, there are fewer and fewer shops like the butcher and supermarket that have disappeared. It is nicely central between several cities such as Schagen, Heerhugowaard and possibly Alkmaar. A nice modern primary school in the village is ideal and the dentist is also conveniently around the corner.

A very nice neighbourhood, friendly people, lots of sports activities nearby and at my home a beautiful view over meadows.

When I talk about my own little neighbourhood, a part of Colijnstraat, it's fantastic. We organise a neighbourhood barbecue every year, look out for each other, have regular contact, play games, have a stamppot evening and a fire pit evening. People love living in our little neighbourhood.

A year ago, I came to live here with my husband, it is quiet but the cars can drive quite fast through the streets, which is why I have never let my cats go outside, the supermarket and some other shops are within walking distance from us so that is lovely, but on the other side of the village there is nothing so I can imagine that those people would find it annoying to have to go by bike or car every time.

Good neighbourhood, nice people friendly, small quiet boring nothing happens

Decent neighbourhood, shops within walking distance. Quite clean, school also at a reasonable distance. Quite quiet neighbourhood

I have always found this a nice neighbourhood, very quiet and lots of young families. Quite a lot of greenery has been planted in the area recently. There are two schools, both relatively close by.
