Very nice and caring

People in this neighbourhood almost always greet each other. Many 1930s houses. Also some that can be called posh (e.g. Bruinelaan and Amsterdamse weg). Close to shopping centre Walburg. Close to the station. The beautiful old Town Hall from 1934 is in this neighbourhood. There is not much turnover in this neighbourhood. Many people who have lived in Zwijndrecht for a very long time live here. During the Christmas period, many gardens are lit with Christmas decorations. There are many opportunities to fish near the Town Hall. You can regularly hear the carillon that stands at the Town Hall. The neighbourhood can be called quite "green" (small grass fields, trees, a park with fountains near the Town Hall).

Quiet, but rather messy, a lot of litter.

It's very quiet and super safe, only sometimes in terms of waste it's bad because other residents don't want to throw it away or pay for it.

Schoolchildren make the whole neighbourhood dirty, stab each other with knives, walk around shopping centres during school hours and harass people who want to go about their own business. I am a racist and most of the schoolchildren and young people who do that are either Somalis, Moroccans or Syrians. As for schools, there are a few that keep it tidy, but more the public ones with all those foreign schoolchildren make the neighbourhood unsafe, dirty and uninhabitable. The train station is central and you can travel quickly. What could be improved: keep the schoolchildren in school during school hours; if they don't come, then don't come, but don't give them another chance. In terms of safety, more cameras and more police on the street.

I've lived here all my life with great pleasure. Around the corner from a bus stop, supermarkets and other shops. And very good housing facilities.
