De zanderij is a very involved neighbourhood

My experience is that you speak to almost everyone in the neighbourhood and everyone is very friendly. Sometimes there are loitering youths but usually it's quiet. There is greenery but it could always be more! There are many terraced houses so there is plenty of space but also a number of large houses where actually many more houses could have been built.
