Breedeweg, Berg en Dal
NeighbourhoodThis mid-terrace house on Kerkpad in Groesbeek sits in the quiet village of Breedeweg, surrounded by fields and cows. With 134 m² of living space, a 207 m² plot and an energy label B, it's a solid family home. Breedeweg is a small village with just over 2,000 residents, where almost nine out of ten homes are single-family houses. It's a place where people know each other. One resident sums it up: "Our neighbourhood is great. Everyone is very friendly to each other." The only downside they mention is the planned redevelopment behind the street, which will bring a new neighbourhood and fewer parking spaces. The municipality Berg en Dal covers a wider area of green hills and forests, but Breedeweg itself feels like a rural enclave.
For your daily shopping, you have Lidl and PLUS both just around the corner, and Jumbo a couple of streets away. Basisschool Breedeweg is on your doorstep, just 193 metres away, so the school run is a short walk. For secondary education, you'd need to travel a bit further, the nearest school is 2.6 km away. The nearest train station is 5.9 km away, so a car or bike is handy for longer journeys.
At the time of writing, this home is listed through several channels, including RIKJO Makelaardij, Vastgoed Nederland, Pararius and Funda.

Our neighbourhood is great. Everyone is very friendly to each other. If you don't like cows, I definitely wouldn't recommend living here. Unfortunately, they are going to redevelop the street and neighbourhood behind us. Parking spaces will disappear and the view will be limited by the construction of a whole new neighbourhood behind our house. A shame. Other than that, completely satisfied :).
