It's a quiet neighbourhood where little happens. There is only 1 supermarket, and the market that was once very lively is now very quiet. You don't come here for the liveliness anymore.. a quiet neighbourhood though. Most neighbours are also very polite and always have a chat. In Geertruidenberg there are many anti-squat buildings, but this doesn't help with housing; in Raamsdonksveer, also municipality of Geertruidenberg, they are more involved with that. Facilities are insufficient, housing is being worked on in the municipality of Geertruidenberg.

Everything for young people that was there has been removed, but security complains when we sit on a bench somewhere, but other than that there's nothing left to do

In Geertruidenberg everyone knows each other, so it's always a cosy neighbourhood where you can have a chat with anyone. Unfortunately, we are known as a city but have very few amenities.
