Rental homes in Gravenburg, Groningen

I think it's a nice neighbourhood, the houses are reasonably affordable and it's great for children. There are many children and also playgrounds for them. When I was a child, I had a lot of fun here. I went to the Aquamarijn school, which was also a great school. The area is spacious and nice for walks. There are hardly any shops, recreational or sports facilities in the neighbourhood itself, which I find a bit of a shame because you have to go to Vinkhuizen, Hoogkerk or Reitdiep. I'd rate it a 5.5, because it's close by but not in the neighbourhood. Also, there are elderly people living here, and in my opinion they don't have trouble with younger children. So I think it's a good area and I would definitely stay here because there are people of all ages. I would just like a supermarket here, which would also improve the sense of community.

Gravenbrug and a lovely neighbourhood to live in. It's tidy and easy to get around. The neighbours are always friendly. The only downside is the nuisance from youngsters in playgrounds at 3am could be a bit less. Other than that, a nice spot and you can get anywhere in Groningen quickly.

The neighbours were often nice. There are several playgrounds and a primary school + childcare. There is a small shopping centre (Hoogkerk) a 5-minute bike ride away and a large shopping centre (Reitdiep) about a 10-minute bike ride away. Late in the evening, there are often loitering youths around. Our neighbours did complain about the chickens, so they had to go.
