Nirjha, one of the reviewers, gives the neighbourhood a 9.6 and writes: "I live next to a shopping centre and a park and next to my university. There is a bus stop next to my home so travelling is easy." This proximity to amenities and public transport is something many residents appreciate.

Yet not everyone is equally enthusiastic. Reviewer GD gives a 6.0 and describes a neighbourhood that has declined: "From a nice area it has changed to unfortunately not safe, not clean." This divide is characteristic: around Westermarkt and the area near Station Universiteit it is lively and well-maintained, while parts towards Jagersbuurt and Luchthavenbuurt Oost according to some residents deserve more attention.
