Beautifully green, quiet and safe to live. Limited infrastructure, there is a bus but you first have to go to Hoogerheide or Roosendaal to then travel to Bergen op Zoom, which by car would take 15 minutes but could easily take over an hour. Furthermore, there is no train station, which in principle is not a problem for a small village. It has a school for young children, but if you want higher education you'll have to go to the city, which by bus is quite a distance again. Overall a super nice village to live in, as mentioned above the nature is beautiful, it's quiet but a cosy café can certainly be found there.

Beautiful green and quiet surroundings? Huijbergen is certainly a village where you can easily walk into the greenery, but also get a village feel from the cozy cafés and town centre. It has a small supermarket (Coop) right around the corner, and close to other villages with larger supermarkets like AH, Jumbo, etc. Also an Action, Hema and Kruidvat are conveniently nearby. Been here for 6 months, still grateful for the good choice of place to live.
