Rental homes in Leeuwen, Roermond

Lovely between green and city, wonderful for walking, cycling and living. Nice green spaces, pleasant community with active participation via neighbourhood committee.

My experience in this neighbourhood is very pleasant. It is safe for children and there are no fast-driving cars. The only downside is that it gets very busy in the mornings on weekdays due to the primary schools. But it is good that there are 2 schools in such a small village. The community is a bit lacking as neighbours don't talk much to each other and mostly keep to themselves. Once in a while there is a neighbourhood meeting but we don't participate. The housing is very good, there are many terraced houses and they are super tidy; both rental and owner-occupied homes. Moreover, it is very clean and there is no nuisance from loitering youths. The nature area is nearby, you can walk through the woods and it is less than 300 metres away. Also, the city is close, and you only need to cycle for a maximum of 15 minutes. (Also within walking distance) The secondary school BC Broekhin is also very close and is very convenient! :)

Very quiet, only a bit busier at the primary school in the morning/afternoon. Lots of woods and water around and you can find everything very quickly. The city is a quarter of an hour away.
