Our housing association actually does nothing to make the neighbourhood more attractive. As an example where I live, the 4 seasons, the Lente gild to try to make it more attractive. I tried talking to the housing association about this, but missed opportunity. Too bad.

No activities for adults. And certainly the housing association Wooncompas does nothing at all for us, in our complex where many elderly people live. Too bad.

For me, Slikkerveer feels like a quiet and green place with a village atmosphere, where it's nice to live, although I do notice that it's not always easy to reach from Rotterdam because there is no direct train connection.

Absolutely fine

They play badly and they act like 12-year-olds and we play 8 vs 8 and get a penalty against them, this is really stupid.

I don't always feel safe, cars drive too fast, don't indicate properly what they're going to do. E-steps and fatbikes drive too fast, don't look out. Rubbish is everywhere. Bins are overflowing. I regularly see cigarette butts and chewing gum on the street.

There's nothing to do and the neighbourhood is very Christian. As a result, nothing is open on Sundays. There is very little connection to Rotterdam and it easily takes over half an hour to get there, even though it's not that far away. There are a few secondary schools and primary schools in Ridderkerk, but for further education you would have to look outside the village. There is also occasional vandalism in the village (car mirrors smashed or bus shelters broken).
