There's a cosy, relaxed atmosphere on our street. We're always welcome at each other's birthday parties and enjoy celebrating together, for example at New Year's or the annual neighbourhood BBQ. When we drive down the street, we always wave friendly to each other. In the neighbourhood, it's noticeable that it's always clean and tidy. I've had little experience with criminal activities. However, my mother's bike was stolen from the driveway a few years ago. So just lock it to be safe ;). That was about 10 years ago now. The distance to the city centre is about 2 km. Perfectly doable by bike if you want to have a drink in town. From our window, you look directly onto the Ommerbos. It's a great place to get some fresh air on a walk. You can live here just fine!
