Accessibility is reasonable. By car, via the N62 you are quickly on the Westerscheldetunnel towards Zuid-Beveland and the A58. To Ghent you drive in about 35 minutes. Public transport is, as in many Zeelandic-Flemish neighbourhoods, limited. Bus line 19 connects Oude Vaart with Terneuzen station and the centre, but the frequency is not high. A car is indispensable for most residents here. Parking is fortunately not a problem: almost all homes have a driveway or garage.

Residents particularly appreciate the peace and child-friendly layout of the neighbourhood. "Nice, green neighbourhood where children can play safely outside. For a terrace or restaurant you really have to go to the centre.
