There is social cohesion and that's good

I've been living here for about 8 years, nothing special happens here. The funniest thing is near my building there is a junction where people can go right or left, and in the past 4 months alone there have been 3 accidents, so hopefully they'll do something about the street here. As for education, there are only one or two primary schools in the neighbourhood, no secondary school except one that only offers VMBO?? I really don't understand why they do that. And it would be very liveable if they laid tram lines between the colleges/universities and here, because I go to The Hague 4 days a week and I have to walk all the way to tram 9 and then on the way back I also have to walk all the way back.

About Hengelolaan 593, 'S-Gravenhage

Is €225,000 a fair price for this apartment?

The asking price is 48% below the neighbourhood average of €431,690, which makes it a keen entry point. The price reflects that, so it's in line with the market for a home that may need some energy upgrades.

What is the energy label and what does it mean?

Jumbo is 284 metres away, just around the corner. Albert Heijn is 301 metres and Lidl is 358 metres, so all three are within a five-minute walk.

What schools are nearby?

The nearest primary school is WSKO Basisschool De Hofvilla, about 2.2 km away. There are several other primary schools within 3 km. For secondary education, the closest school is about 1.1 km away, but it only offers VMBO.

How is public transport in the area?

The nearest train station is 5.2 km away. The neighbourhood is very urban, so public transport is generally available.

What is the neighbourhood like?

The Venen, Oorden en Raden neighbourhood is densely built with mostly flats. It has a mix of families and singles. Two residents reviewed it: one mentions social cohesion and traffic issues, the other simply says it's a good neighbourhood. The overall score is 7.82 out of 10.

How many rooms does the apartment have?

The floor area is 72 m², but without room details, you would need to check the floor plan with the agent.

Is there a garden or outdoor space?

The listing does not mention a garden, balcony, or terrace. The plot size is not given, so it's best to assume there is no private outdoor space unless confirmed by the agent.
