Although the homes have been renovated, not to full satisfaction. It has also caused the sense of community and contact with neighbours to disappear. Previously, you could sit comfortably on the gallery on nice days, but due to the renovation, the galleries are a good 25 cm narrower, so sitting outside is no longer an option. There is a balcony at the rear, but with warmer temperatures it is unbearable there. Some activities are organised, but residents are no longer interested because vandalism has regularly occurred. The older youth are bored and that leaves traces. There are also frequent illegal activities. A real shame for a beautiful neighbourhood.

How big is the plot and garden?

The plot measures 372 m². The listing does not specify whether there is a garden, but with a plot of this size, outdoor space is likely.

What is the neighbourhood like for families?

Beek has a mix of ages, with about 28% of households having children. There are several primary schools within walking distance, and secondary schools are about 3 km away. However, one resident review mentions a decline in community spirit and issues with youth vandalism, so it's worth visiting to get a feel.

The nearest train station is 1.7 km away, which is about a 20-minute walk or a short cycle ride. That makes commuting by rail quite convenient.

What supermarkets are nearby?

The closest supermarket is PLUS at 273 metres, just a few minutes' walk. Jumbo is 605 metres away and Albert Heijn is 764 metres, both within a ten-minute walk. So daily shopping is very easy.
