I've been living here for almost 3 years now and have reasonable contact with the neighbours. I have no trouble with crime or feelings of insecurity. There is sufficient social control, but not to the point where it bothers you. The houses could use some renovation, but they are busy making them more sustainable.

Poorly maintained municipal gardens/shrubs. Street paving stones, which have been renewed for half of a street. And the other part has simply remained the same. After 4 years, I don't see any change coming that will fix that street. Very annoying that the last part is easily accessible because it has been renewed, while the beginning part is as crooked as can be. Postboxes disappear. Street lamps are as crooked as can be, or don't work. Bulky waste is not collected on time despite an appointment and money being paid to pick up that rubbish. Underground containers are often jammed. So you have to walk with your rubbish bags to the other side of the street! Cars cannot access the street itself. Very handy (ahem) for ambulances, etc.
