My neighbourhood is always very cosy, with children playing outside and also the annual neighbourhood barbecues. The amenities are absolutely great, we have a Kruidvat, Jumbo, florist and barber around the corner, and also varied stalls during the week, such as mabroek, Vietnamese spring rolls, cheese and a fishmonger. There is also almost never any unrest in our area, very neat and polite people. Nice playgrounds and benches along the water and also a large green park nearby. It is close to the motorway which is handy for the car and public transport is also fine. We have 3 bus lines that pass by in the area, and the nearest one is only a 5-minute walk away. Furthermore, the hygiene is great, always very clean and almost no litter. We have a GP practice in the area and a primary school.

It's a peaceful neighbourhood, never much nuisance and always very nice to go for a walk because there's a nice park nearby that isn't overcrowded with young people. All amenities are conveniently close, so very handy if you've forgotten to get something. Otherwise, a nice atmosphere around the area, lots of friendly people and also occasional neighbourhood barbecues which make it cosy.

Clean, quiet, child-friendly, easily accessible

Quiet neighbourhood. Lots of nice people and I always feel safe. I just miss a football pitch or something. Somewhere where the youngsters can play football/basketball and so on. Supermarket nearby (Lidl) and a shopping centre within cycling distance. Beach not too far away either, and the city too. Actually just a really lovely neighbourhood!

My neighbourhood is very cosy and snug, because it's a big shopping street and almost all neighbours are very kind. Nothing ever gets stolen in the neighbourhood, and there are many schools nearby for children.

Oegstgeest is a nice village with many good facilities, such as shopping centres, sports clubs, water sports opportunities, swimming pool, restaurants, etc. Medical facilities are also excellent. I have been living here for 30 years with great pleasure.

Friendly people, but things do happen sometimes

Poelgeest is a quiet neighbourhood, it has a hair salon, gym, primary school... It's also next to a polder with rich nature and birds, though they do poop a lot over you.
