Since the merger with Geldermalsen, the municipality of Neerijnen has put its villages and residents up for sale. If you look at, for example, the maintenance of green spaces in the old municipality of Neerijnen, and now in West Betuwe, you can see the difference, where the border stops at the old municipality of Geldermalsen. When you drive into/arrive in Geldermalsen, you see a difference compared to outside the village centre of Geldermalsen.
