I think very little of the neighbourhood already; the neighbour is nothing, an autistic man who can't stand dogs, and the other neighbours around have little or no contact anymore.

Both in Dreumel and Beneden-Leeuwen there are several shops, but in Wamel we only have a neighbourhood supermarket that closes early and is closed on Sundays, which is sometimes annoying because then you would have to take the car to go to Dreumel and Leeuwen instead of just quickly cycling to the shop.

I moved here in December and so far haven't experienced any bad things in this neighbourhood. Nice people, cosy atmosphere, everything is within walking distance. It's also kept very clean; there's always something on the ground, that's just how it is, but otherwise we all do our best to keep the streets as clean as possible.

The neighbourhood is great, activities are organised, people are friendly, lots of dog owners walking together, people are there for fellow residents.

Polstraat is a street that has been there for hundreds of years, but has actually always had little development. It runs from the centre of the village outwards towards the countryside. There are old farms and duck houses and, since a year and a half, also ours. The neighbourhood is neat and clean, people get along well, and it is spacious. More building will take place soon, fortunately in ribbon development so that the character is preserved. Almost everyone who lives here loves nature, which is why everyone is often busy in the garden or I see them in the nature reserve just behind the dyke. I never want to leave here. Everything is within reach for me: the GP, supermarket and several eateries are 1 to 2 kilometres away. There is a primary school, a swimming pool and various sports facilities within less than 5 minutes by bike. All this while you still feel like you live in the countryside here. The nearest secondary school is half an hour's bike ride away, but that builds character.

It is very calm and beautiful but it is not that big

Always been a resident of this village. It's a small village but cosy!
