rather unfriendly clamping behaviour

People are very self-centred! Elderly people are often pushed aside. Safety is there, but during holiday time the square and park are dirty, Corneluspark and near the church. Bins are full halfway through the week. Food scraps near the benches, cigarette butts everywhere. My dog was very ill from something like weed. Chicken bones are often thrown in the park. Even in the dog exercise area in Corneliuspark. The exercise area is damaged, holes everywhere, while on the Rennemig there is a nice exercise area with high fences. This is what I experience. Kind regards

Frequently asked questions

About Navolaan, Heerlen

Is €360 a fair price for this room?

At €360 per month, this room is well below the average rent in Heerlerheide Kom, which is around €2,000. However, that average is based on larger properties, so a room is expected to be cheaper. Without knowing the floor area, it's hard to say if it's good value, but it's certainly a low entry point for renting in the area.

What is the neighbourhood like?

Heerlerheide Kom has a diverse population, with many older residents and single-person households. One resident describes the area as having some issues with litter and dog waste, but also notes that safety is present. The neighbourhood has a mix of shops and schools within walking distance.

How far is the train station?

The nearest train station is 3.1 km away, which is about a 40-minute walk or a short bus ride. The listing does not specify bus connections, so you would need to check local routes.

What supermarkets are nearby?

PLUS is just around the corner (304 m), Aldi is a couple of streets away (413 m), and Jan Linders is also close (483 m). For a wider choice, Lidl is about 672 m and Albert Heijn is 1.5 km away.
