Our neighbourhood is incredibly cosy, in almost every street lives a familiar/nice person and there are always people you can have a chat with. There is hardly any theft and nothing serious happens. The nature is very nice, there is a small park and a beach so you can fully enjoy the neighbourhood. Hygiene is also very good, hardly any litter is found and if litter is found it is usually cleaned up immediately. Education is good, 2 primary schools in the village and several secondary schools within 10 km, but unfortunately no college/university. The only downside is the number of amenities. In summer you can enjoy the beach or the water, or play football in the park, but in winter there is basically nothing. You can play football and play on the school playgrounds and the ice rink, but that's about it. There are also playgrounds scattered around the neighbourhood, but they are not super special.

About Grote Riethure 2, Westmaas
At 206 m² and with a 532 m² plot, the price works out to about €4,345 per m². That is on the high side compared to other terraced houses in Hoeksche Waard, but the large plot and quiet village location may justify it. The energy label E means higher running costs, which is worth factoring in.
Westmaas Woonkern is described by a resident as cosy, friendly and peaceful, with familiar faces and very little crime. There is a small park and a beach, and hygiene is good. The main drawback is limited amenities in winter. The area has a mix of ages, with many older residents, and most homes are owner-occupied.
The nearest train station is 12.4 km away, so you would need a car or bus for rail connections. The village is car-dependent for most longer journeys.
Two primary schools are within walking distance: IKC de Vlashoek (541 m) and cbs De Weerklank (609 m). Secondary schools are about 4.8 km away, so a bike or bus ride is needed.
The energy label is E, which means the home is not very energy-efficient. You can expect higher heating bills compared to a home with a better label. The house was built in 1970, so insulation may be dated.
The plot is 532 m², which is large, but the listing does not explicitly mention a garden.
