Rental prices and market figures De Streek, Etten-Leur

De Streek is predominantly an owner-occupied neighbourhood: of the 445 homes, about 70% are owned by residents. Only 30% are rented out, the majority of which (28%) are owned by a housing association. Private sector rentals are therefore limited here: only about 2% of the housing stock falls under other landlords. In the past twelve months, three homes were rented out in the private sector (excluding social housing) in De Streek, with an average rent of €1,950 per month for an average area of 114 m². By comparison, the average WOZ value in De Streek is €488,000, significantly higher than the district average of Zuid woongebied (€337,000) and the municipal average of Etten-Leur (€343,000). This higher property level is also reflected in rental prices. If you are looking for a rental home in a more affordable segment, it is better to look at the broader supply of rental homes in Zuid woongebied or rental homes in Etten-Leur as a whole. Nice neighbourhood to live in

Nice neighbourhood to live in and recently a halogen torch was organised for children. I only notice that many residents, myself included, have little time to get to know each other. I know who my direct neighbours are and that's it. Many people work and then there's little time, speaking for myself due to sports etc. Sometimes I see police here but I don't know why. And I don't want to know either. Sometimes I wonder why a van with Polish licence plates (trailer) has been parked on the street next to us for weeks. I guess there must be a reason.
