Rooms for rent in Leidschendam-Voorburg

You can never walk through the park normally without being spoken to or almost being hit by a fatbike on the pavement. A group is taking over the park and apparently no one can do anything about it. Not a safe neighbourhood for my children

It's a very soothing neighbourhood with friendly people. It's certainly not easy to reach and many people don't know it, but it's a cosy neighbourhood. The view is beautiful, almost nothing ever happens here, it's close to the countryside and you have many farmers (so always nice fresh products) all in all it's a cosy top neighbourhood.

It is a nice neighbourhood. The people are real working-class folk. They gossip and love sensation.

I was born here, the neighbourhood has changed a lot in the past 34 years. In the past, people helped each other, now many divorced people. Greetings are no longer possible, and the biggest problem is the parking issues! And always noise from school, renovations, barking dogs, crying children.

Often loitering figures from the psychiatric institution. No more social control after all the new construction. A lot of greenery removed. Neighbourhood has become an incoherent whole.

- one-sided, poorly maintained housing with a low energy label for a large part of the street - a lot of litter on the street and in front gardens/planters - parking nuisance due to inadequate enforcement, especially commercial vans of people who largely do not live on this street / parking on corners and pavements (also trucks) and in the green zone because the vans are too long for a regular spot / broken kerbstones - public transport at least a fifteen-minute walk away - noise pollution from the Utrechtsebaan (A12) / all apartments on the top floor exceed the noise standard
