Rental homes in Nieuwendijk, Altena

I haven't lived here very long myself, but I do think there's extremely little to do. You have your basic shops here that you need, but that's about it. Quite a few people have also moved to the neighbouring villages because there's so little to do here. On the other hand, the peace and quiet is sometimes nice, and it's also a beautiful little village. You run into everyone daily and often say hello to them or have a chat.

Living in Nieuwendijk is fine. The green maintenance could be better. There is a lot of social control in our part of the street. There are several rental properties where the residents make a mess of it. Too bad. Also, plastic collection bags are often left on the street well before the collection rounds. Access to and from the village is poor if you don't have a car yourself.
