Zoeterwoude is a lovely village, noticeable from the house prices. You're right in the city but it still feels wonderfully and familiarly village-like. Nature in abundance and nearby, which is a precious commodity in South Holland. People help each other, you simply say hello when you meet someone (even if you don't know them), and taking a number at a shop isn't necessary – 'who was last?' Super nice place to live.

Wonderful living in peace and greenery. Lots of involvement and togetherness. A feeling that you are truly seen and vice versa. Feels safe and familiar. Communication about upcoming changes, such as sewer works, is good. In terms of housing, there seems to be little turnover; people enjoy living here.

Nice people, they don't cause any nuisance and you can always ask them something

Small village, but with a primary school, supermarkets, a bus line, a home furnishing boulevard and a petrol station. Parking is occasionally an issue because there are relatively few parking spaces compared to the number of cars per household. I feel safe and familiar there. Really great place to live!
