Although the homes have been renovated, not to full satisfaction. It has also caused the sense of community and contact with neighbours to disappear. Previously, you could sit comfortably on the gallery on nice days, but due to the renovation, the galleries are a good 25 cm narrower, so sitting outside is no longer an option. There is a balcony at the rear, but with warmer temperatures it is unbearable there. Some activities are organised, but residents are no longer interested because vandalism has regularly occurred. The older youth are bored and that leaves traces. There are also frequent illegal activities. A real shame for a beautiful neighbourhood.

About Wesselinusstraat 37, Beek (Li)

Is €349,000 a fair price for this terraced house?

The asking price is 15% below the average asking price in Beek (€412,831), which makes it keenly priced. However, the floor area of 108 m² is 25% smaller than the neighbourhood average of 144 m², so the lower price partly reflects the smaller size. Comparable homes in the area sold for an average of €385,806.

What is the energy label and what does it mean?

The home has energy label C. This is a reasonable rating: it means the home is moderately energy-efficient. You can expect lower heating costs than a home with label D or lower, but not as low as an A-rated home. In Beek, 30.2% of homes have label C, while 41.5% have label D or lower.

How is the neighbourhood Beek for families?

Beek has a mix of households: about 28% are families with children, and 32% are couples without children. How long do homes typically stay on the market in Beek?

Sold homes in Beek took an average of 59 days to sell, which is a moderate pace. This suggests a balanced market where buyers have time to consider their options.

What is the garden or outdoor space like?

The resident review mentions a rear balcony that is uncomfortable in warm weather, so the outdoor space may be limited.
