It's a shame that the people in the Jozefhof hardly connect with each other; the owner-occupied apartments do, but the rental apartments have little interaction with each other. That might also be because the young people all work. But even when a neighbourhood party is organised, I don't see them either; making connections is not a thing, not even with the joy and sorrow fund. And what I also miss in this neighbourhood is a community centre; quite a lot of elderly people live here, which is a pity. And there are also people in this neighbourhood who are alone and lonely. Accessibility is good, safety could always be better. In the apartment complex, we sometimes have unwanted guests. Facilities are good; shops around the corner, GP and station are around the corner. Daily amenities are available.

No problems, just put in a bit of effort yourself, if everyone does that it's fine

Pleasantly, many people greet each other, know each other. And are willing to help each other. Only the rubbish is a problem; people just put it next to the containers. I'm afraid they don't want to pay for it. And green spaces: they mow far too little, once a year the ditch bank looks terrible. I'm not the only one who thinks that; many people complain about it. I think it's a shame that people rarely report it. Furthermore, we miss a community centre in the neighbourhood; many elderly and lonely people live here. We would appreciate that.

A pleasant neighbourhood, but it's a shame that the younger people have little time and that there is no meeting centre here. In Gouda Noord, quite a lot of elderly people live, and they are also lonely. In the past, the Noord building was a community centre, but now it belongs to the Salvation Army. So we consider that a point of attention. And also another point: a lot of rubbish near the bins; people don't throw it in, they prefer to put it next to it so they don't have to pay. That doesn't make the neighbourhood any better.

Very cosy neighbourhood, but a shame that there is little for children and that young people don't feel like having a neighbourhood drink or a party, no time, the people are too old. We have a beautiful courtyard, but it is used too little. And I am a party-starter myself, but even then it's difficult, so I say let's try to make connections here step by step. Not wanting too much at once.

I've lived in many places in my life, but this is by far the nicest. Just outside the city centre, but within a 5-minute walk of a shop or terrace. It has everything of a city, yet the peace and cosiness of a village.

The neighbourhood is close to the centre and station, ideal. Amenities such as supermarkets, shops and schools are plentiful. However, more green space would do the area good and less traffic.
