The neighbourhood

The Jagersbuurt West neighbourhood is a densely built area with a mix of flats and some houses. One resident describes it as: "Once a nice neighbourhood, now neglected." They mention nuisance from loitering youths and racing cars, and note that shops are often empty or replaced by barbershops and mobile phone stores. The review is based on a single response, so it's a personal view rather than a broad consensus. The area has a high address density and a young population, with many single-person households.

Once a nice neighbourhood, now neglected.

From a pleasant neighbourhood it has changed to unfortunately no longer a safe, clean neighbourhood. There is absolutely more supervision needed, not just to fatten the tax coffers with so many expensive car checks, seizures/confiscations. Nuisance from loitering youths, racing at 80-100 on a 50 road... road blockades with cars at the height of the playground. As a result of various developments, more shops are often empty. Or only more foreign barbershops come, likewise mobile phone shops fill up. Hope that with the "major renovation" new construction also gets attention for safety and nature.
